On October 31st, the 2023 Yangming Mind Studies Conference opened in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. Scholars from countries and regions such as China, the United States, Japan, and South Korea gathered together to discuss the global influence and contemporary value of his philosophy.

The theme of this conference is "Yangming Mind Studies and Modern Chinese Civilization", aiming to gather the strong joint forces of cultural inheritance and development, and contribute the wisdom and strength of Yangming Mind Studyto the construction of modern Chinese civilization. Five institutes, namely Zhejiang Province Jishan WangYangming Research Institute, Guiyang Confucius Institute Cultural Communication Center, Gannan Normal University WangYangming Research Center, Fujian Jiangxia University Yangming Research Institute, and Guangxi WangYangming Research Association, signed a contract for the "Yangming Travel Site Collaboration Platform".

Shaoxing is the birthplaceas well as the center of thematurity and dissemination of Yangming's Mind Studies. Since its establishment in 2020, the Yangming Mind Studies Conference has become an important platform for the inheritance, development, exchange, and mutual learning of YangmingMind Studies at home and abroad.
