On December 27, China Confucius Foundation's "Filial Piety Project" public welfare project settledin the Binzhou HappyCanteen and the awarding ceremony of the Confucius School was held in Zouping City.

"Filial Piety Project · Happy Canteen" is a public welfare project initiated by Nishan World Center for Confucian Studyand China Confucius Foundation, which solves the problem of dining for the elderly and enables more elderly people to live a happy life. Confucius Schools carry on and promote the fine traditional Chinese culture through the dissemination of classics, public classes, exchanges and training.

This activity will promote the synchronous planning, construction and operation of Confucius School and the happy canteen project, spread and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, help the grassroots governance of the countryside,, create a "Qilu model" of respecting the elderly and filial piety and rural revitalization, and comprehensivelyimprove the rural cultural atmosphere and spiritual outlook in an all-round way.
