On April 22, the Second China(Wuhan) Culture and Tourism Expo opened in Wuhan, Hubei Province, and Qufu, Confucius’hometown and the Oriental holy city, was highlighted during the Expo.

On the expo, the design of Shandong exhibition hall presented flexible, simple, modern and magnificent, highlighting Shanong culture which boasts a long history and profound contents.At the event, an area for visitors’interactive experienceofintangible cultural heritage was set up. The projectof making rubbings and hand-written of The Analectsfrom QufuSankong Culture and Creative Industry attracted numerous local traditional culture enthusiasts’participation. Wetting rice paper, applying ink, hammering and picking up paper...the participants personally involved in each step to experience the fun of making rubbings. And on the area of handwritten of The Analects, pupils rushed to pick up their pens to experience the unique charm of the activity, absorbing the influence of Confucian culture unconsciously.

By the grand event, the brand influence and reputation of “Confucius’ Hometown and Oriental Holy City”has been further enhanced, and local residents’desire to get closer to Confucius and his hometown by visiting Qufu has been intensely stimulated.
