You had no selfish motives towards me. You were born to be a gentleman. That's why I admire you." After listening to it, Confucius said, "As an official, you treated people equally according to the laws, which is very nice. Remember, a man of benevolence and altruism would be awarded with gratitude while a man of ruthlessness would be faced with many enemies."
