From December 3 to 7, Guo Chengyan, Secretary of the CPCCommittee and Deputy Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Confucius Foundation, and Vice Chairman of International Confucian Association, led a research team to Shanghai, Anhui, Zhejiang and other regions for an in-depth investigation. They visited enterprises, universities and research institutions on the spot, explored teaching scenarios, and gained insights into advanced models and experiences in cultivating entrepreneurs.

The research team visited the School of Science and Technology Business of the University of Science and Technology of China, the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Anhui Province and Jinyang Group successively, engaging in discussions on topics such as enterprise management, talent cultivation system construction, and business philosophy integrated with excellent business culture. At Jiaxing New Confucian Merchant Enterprise Innovation and Development Research Institute, we gained a detailed understanding of the institute's organizational structure, research directions, curriculum system and project practices, which all demonstrated the exploration and practice of applying excellent traditional culture to enterprise governance. At Zhejiang University and Wang Yangming Research Institute of Jishan, Zhejiang Province, discussions were held on promoting the culture of Confucian merchants and cultivating Confucian merchant entrepreneurs.

Guo Chengyan stressed the need to implement the "Humanistic Economics" initiative proposed by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. By leveraging research on Confucian business culture and entrepreneur development, we should integrate Confucian values with corporate team building and economic growth. We should open up channels for communication, pool wisdom, and take the research on Confucian merchant culture and the cultivation of entrepreneurs as a main responsibility of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies(Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), constantly expanding the breadth and height of the cause's development. We need to strengthen the research on Confucian business, integrate the top forces at home and abroad, establish academic committee and innovation team, set up research topics, and incorporate them into the innovation project of the center. It is necessary to further integrate the resources of universities and research institutions, give full play to the advantages of the research base of the center and the specialized training base of NishanJoint Graduate School, and further strengthen exchanges and cooperation through measures such as jointly creating high-quality courses,conducting cultural training, and holding international academic conferences, to build a Confucian merchant culture and entrepreneur training system with Shandong characteristics.
