Centered on center government school Sungkyunkwan, Sungkyunkwan of Seoul (the Confucius Temple of South Korea) was an integration of temple and school which radiated the whole country and is still running well. It is located at No.53, Myeongyun-dong 3rd Street, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea. It is now in the same place with the famous Sungkyunkwan University, and is the center of Confucianism research and research of traditional ethics in South Korea. In spring and autumn each year, the ceremony of worshiping Confucius is held as scheduled, fulfilling the idea of the integration of temple and school, and leading more than 200 village schools and more than 500 academies to worship the ancient sage, Confucius.
