Recently, the Publicity Department of the CPCShandong Provincial Committee and the Shandong Provincial Department of Education announced the list of selected candidates for Shandong Provincial "Hundred Talents Program" for Theoretical Talents. Wei Yanhua, Member of the CPCCommittee, Vice Principaland ResearchFellow fromChina Confucius Research Institute, and Kong Li, Young Expert of Shandong Taishan Scholars and Associate ResearchFellow, were successfully selected.

The Shandong Provincial "Hundred Talents Program" for Theoretical Talents is a strategic project in the province aimed at selecting and cultivating outstanding young and middle-aged talents in social sciences and theories. It focuses on selecting young and middle-aged academic leaders and theoretical backbones engaged in forward-looking and innovative research on Marxist theory and philosophy and social sciences, especially those fromfrontline professional and technical personnel. Since its implementation in 1999, the program has played a positive role and achieved remarkable results in strengthening the construction of social science and theoretical talent teams, conducting research on major theoretical and practical issues, and promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements.
