On December 4th, the Unveiling Ceremony of “Fine Traditional Chinese CultureLecture Hall” and Confucius Homesin the Greater Bay Area were hledat the Convention Center of Zhujiang Hotel in Guangzhou. The event was co-hosted by Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation) and the Guangzhou Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province.

ThreenewConfuciusHomesin the Greater Bay Areawere unveiled, injecting new momentum into promoting the integration and coexistence of Confucian culture and Guangdongculture, as well as advancing the construction of a humanistic Greater Bay Area. Distinguished guests present recited classic chapters from The Analects. Wang Wei, a distinguished expert from the lecture team of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, gave a lecture titled "Zi Gong: The Predecessorof Confucian Merchants", profoundly interpreting Zi Gong's Confucian merchant spirit and its contemporary value.

Named"Fine Traditional Chinese CultureLecture Hall,"the freeopen lectures are a concrete practice of the Publicity Department of Shandong Provincial CPCCommittee and Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies in thoroughly studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and vigorously advancing the "Two Combinations". Up to now, it has been held in 50 governmental bodies, enterprises and public institutions, with an increasingly expanding influence. Confucius Homeis a public welfare cultural brand project of China Confucius Foundation. Since its establishment in 2014, a total of 4,181 Confucius Institutes have been set up in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan as well as in 21 overseas countries. In the future, all parties will further strengthen resource sharing and collaborative linkage, contributing more to enhancing cultural confidence and promoting regional cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
