On the morning of November 28, the signing ceremony for the joint recruitment ofpostdoctoral researchers by Nishan World Centerfor ConfucianStudies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation) and Qufu Normal Universitywas held in Qufu. Guo Chengyan, Secretary of the CPCCommittee and Deputy Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Confucius Foundation, and Xing Guang, Secretary of the CPCCommitteeof Qufu Normal University, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Jiang Yongwei, member of the CPCCommitteeand Deputy Secretary-General of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), and Li Dengwang, a member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Qufu Normal University, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.

Guo Chengyan introduced the construction of the research workstation of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation)in her speech. She stated that the joint recruitment of postdoctoral researchers by both sides represents a concrete implementation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central CommitteeXi Jinping's directives on promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of China's outstanding traditional culture. This initiative also serves as a valuable exploration in integrating high-quality academic resources and innovating talent cultivation models. Both sides will give full play to their respective advantages, continuously deepen strategic cooperation, constantly explore new models and new paths for talent cultivation, jointly cultivate high-quality young Confucian talents. Thus we can provide intellectual support for building a world-class highland for the aggregation and cultivation of Confucian talents and a high-quality talent team for inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture.
