On August 24, the Fourth Doctoral Student Academic Forum of the Nishan Joint Graduate School for Fine Traditional Chinese Culture was held in Jining, Shandong Province.

Themed "The 'Second Integration' and China's Independent Knowledge System", this year's forum brought together 15 outstanding doctoral students from the school's partner institutions, including the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Fudan University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Jilin University, Nankai University, Nanjing University, and Lanzhou University. Academic presentations were delivered across a range of topics, including classical hermeneutics, philosophical construction, mutual learning among civilizations, ritual and musical ethics, and literary aesthetics. The young scholars engaged in dialogue and intellectual exchange from their respective research perspectives and held substantive discussions and in-depth debates on core issues, thereby building academic consensus and opening new avenues for inquiry.

Professors Zhang Hongbin from the School of Philosophy at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wang Kai from the School of Philosophy at Beijing Normal University, and Chen Chang from the Department of Philosophy at Sun Yat-sen University provided comprehensive commentary on the presentations, evaluating topic selection, research value, and structural framing, while also offering suggestions for further refinement.
