This yearmarksthe 2576th anniversary of Confucius' birth.On September 28,the 2025 Global "Cloud Confucius Commemoration" live streamingevent was successfully held. Sponsored by Nishan World Center for Cnfucian Studies and China Confucius Foundation, it was co-hosted by China Confucius Net(www.chinakongzi.org), the Cultural Inheritance and Development Centerof Jining city, and the Confucius Culture Centerin South Korea.

As a key segment of the 2025 China International Confucius Cultural Festival, the event, themed "Benevolence and Rites for All, Harmony and Great Unity", was simutaneous broadcast at the main studio and numerous venues at home and abroad participated byover 60 Confucian temples, academies, and Confucius Homes across Chinese provinces, municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas, attracting 35 million online viewers to participate.

The livestreamingfeatures specially invited experts and scholars who gave on-siteinterpretation ofthe historical connotation and contemporary value of the Confucius Commemoration Ceremony. Scholars from the "Qilu Visiting and Research Residency Program" and overseas sinologists shared their insights into Confucius and Confucianism, explaininghow Confucian culture exerts its influence on the world stage.

Qufu Confucian Temple and Quzhou Confucian Templeare the two major venues to hold the Commemoration ceremonies, displaying the inheritance of Confucianism in north and south China,whileYazhou Academy in Hainan, Jianshui Confucian Temple in Yunnan, and Nanning Confucian Temple in Guangxipresentedthe practice of the integration of Confucianism with ethnic minority cultures. Meanwhile,Tokyo Confucian Temple (Japan), Ashikaga Gakko Confucian Temple (Japan), Sungkyunkwan (South Korea), Jeju Hyanggyo (South Korea), and Confucian Supreme Council of Indonesiademonstrated the cross-cultural integration of Confucian thoughtin overseas countries. The feature filmWatching Confucianism Along the Frontierssorted out the spread of Confucianism in China's border areas from Zhang Qian's mission to the Western Regions in the pre-Qin period to the establishment of Confucius Homesand Confucian Academies in modern times, creating a historical picture of Confucianism's spread in border regions.
