On the morning of November 26, Nishan Joint Graduate School for Fine Traditional Chinese Culture was officially put into service at the provincial forum on the creative transformation and innovative development of culture.Sun Yao, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Vice Minister of Education, attended the event. Jin Nuo, former Secretary of the CPC Committee of Renmin University of China, Chairman of the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and President of the Nishan Joint Graduate School for Fine Traditional Chinese Culture, was present and delivered a speech. Bai Yugang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial CPC Committee, Director of the Publicity Department, as well as Chairman and Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, attended the forum. The event was hosted by Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Shandong Province.

Li Wenliang, vice President of the International Confucian Association,member of the CPC Committee and Deputy General Manager of Poly Culture Group Corporation Limited, and Wen Jinrong, Secretary of Jining Municipal CPC Committee, also attended and delivered speeches.

The official inauguration of the joint graduate school has attracted extensive attention and won strong support from all sectors of society. Up to now, it has received more than 26,000 books donated by its co-founding universities, relevant institutions and people from all walks of life. Branch libraries set up by Shandong Provincial Library and Jining Municipal Library have provided solid support for the high-quality development of the joint graduate school. A book donation activity was held on site, where Sun Yao, Jin Nuo and Bai Yugang presented donation certificates to representatives of donating institutions and individual donors.

Co-established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shandong Province in 2020, the graduate school aims to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on vigorously promoting fine traditional Chinese culture and cultivate high - end professionals specialized in this field. At present, it has brought together 16 first - class universities and institutions, including the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (Chinese Academy of Governance), University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China, to carry out postgraduate education based on a co-construction and sharing model. Every year, large-scale intensive training programs are held in Qufu, Zoucheng, Jiaxiang and other places in Jining, featuring academic lectures, on-site teaching, group discussions and other activities.

Located in Nishan Town, Qufu City, the graduate school covers an area of 192 mu (about 128,000 square meters) with a total construction area of 62,000 square meters. It is equipped with a 1,988-square-meter exhibition area and a 2,000-square-meter library with an electronic reading room. It undertakes various annual key events of the joint graduate school, such as intensive training for new students, opening ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, administrative meetings and academic committee meetings. In addition, ithostsmarket-oriented activities including study-tour training, government affairs training, Confucian businessman training, traditional culture workshops, high-level academic seminars, cultural communication and educational practice programs. In this way, it has achieved an organic unity between the public welfare nature of the project and its sustainable development.
