The 2021 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival and the 7th Nisan World Civilization Forum to Kick off in Qufu on September 27

The event will last for 2 days. The Festival is themed to commemorate the 2572nd anniversary of the birth of Confucius and the Forum’s theme is "Dialogue among civilizations and Global Cooperation", with three sub-themes: the power of culture in the global fight against COVID-19, cultural diversity and integrated development of the world and the common values of mankind and the building of a human community with a shared future.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, the Forum will also include keynote speeches, ministerial interviews, high-level dialogues and interviews, interviews with diplomatic envoys to China, youth interviews, group dialogues, youth forums, Nisan World Forum on Traditional Chinese Medicine and other activities. The Nishan World Forum on Traditional Chinese Medicine is the first time to be held.

Up to now, 189 experts and scholars (171 offline and 18 online) have confirmed their attendance, including 26 from overseas, and 130 papers (videos) have been received. More than 300 will be present at the main venue and more than 600 will attend the ceremony to offer sacrifice to Confucius.

This year's International Confucius Culture Festival will have more than 40 Confucius temples and Confucian institutions to participate in the live "Cloud Offering Sacrifice to Confucius". Meanwhile, video materials for offering offerings to Confucius will be collected at home and abroad to commemorate the 2572nd anniversary of Confucius' birth. People can also express their respect and respect for Confucius by offering a basket of flowers to Confucius online.
