　　近日，“齐鲁访学驻研计划”学者、俄罗斯科学院哲学研究所古代哲学系主任娜杰日达·沃尔科娃（Nadezhda Volkova）接受中国孔子网专访，分享其对中西文化交流的感悟和见解。

　　Q：How did you establish a connection with Chinese culture? What do you think is the most attractive trait of Chinese culture to you?

　　中国孔子网：您是如何与中国文化结缘的？您认为中华文化最吸引您的特质是什么？

　　ANS：As a person who studies ancient philosophy as the basis of European civilization, I consider the field of ethics to be the main point of contact between European and Chinese cultures. The ethical sphere is connected with questions about the nature of human being and the nature of the cosmos. Following Leibniz, I consider Confucius's teachings about the perfect man and the world order to be close to the ideas of Plato and his followers. Plato and the Neoplatonists believed that the will of Providence, the actions of higher principals were are carried out through the nature of human beings for the sake of the perfection of the Universe. My report at the forum will be devoted to this topic. However, I will not touch upon the teachings of Confucius, since I am not an expert in this field, but I will speak about Plato, Aristotle, the Stoics and Plotinus. I think that my Chinese colleagues will find interesting parallels and will help me in further studying Platonism and Confucianism. My whole life has been devoted to the study of antiquity. I find a special attraction in it: the seriousness, the scale of the formulation of problems, the depth and wisdom of solutions. Therefore, for me, the most attractive feature of Chinese civilization is its antiquity and preservation of traditions.

　　娜杰日达·沃尔科娃：作为一个把古代哲学作为欧洲文明基础来研究的人，我认为伦理学领域是欧洲和中国文化的主要联系切入点。伦理领域与人类本质和宇宙本质等问题有关。继莱布尼茨之后，我认为孔子关于完美的人和世界秩序的学说很接近柏拉图及其追随者的思想。柏拉图和新柏拉图主义者都认为，天意的意志、更高原则的行动是通过人类的本性来实现的，目的是为了宇宙的完美。我在尼山论坛上的报告将专门讨论这个话题。然而，我不会触及孔子思想，因为我不是这方面的专家，但我会谈谈柏拉图、亚里士多德、斯多葛学派和普罗提诺。我认为我的中国同事会发现有趣的相似之处，并将帮助我进一步研究柏拉图主义和儒家思想。我一生都致力于研究古代文化，而我发现其中有一个特别的吸引力：提问的严肃性、提出问题的规模范围、解决方案的深度和智慧。因此，对我来说，中华文明最吸引人的特征是它的古老和对于传统的保存。

　　Q：As a visiting scholar of the "Qilu Visiting Research Residency Program", what are your expectations for visiting and studying in Shandong? If you are currently conducting a research residency, please share your feelings.

　　中国孔子网：您作为“齐鲁访学驻研计划”的访问学者，对赴山东访学驻研有哪些期待？如果您正在进行驻研请您谈谈感受。

　　ANS：My first visit to China in November last year as a participant of the World Congress of Classics made a huge impression on me. I met many scholars, both Chinese and European colleagues. This acquaintance opened up completely new horizons for me. I hope that this visit will deeply enrich my knowledge of China and Confucianism. I will be able to trace parallels in the ethics of Confucianism and Platonism. These parallels are especially important for building intercultural interaction.

　　娜杰日达·沃尔科娃：去年11月，我作为世界古典学大会的参与者首次访问中国，这次访问给我留下了深刻的印象。我遇到了许多学者，包括中国和欧洲的同仁。这次认识为我打开了全新的视野。我希望这次访问能更深地丰富我对中国和儒家思想的了解，使我能够在儒家和柏拉图主义的伦理中找到相似之处，这对于建立跨文化的互动尤为重要。

　　Q：The theme of this year's Nishan Forum on World Civilizations is "Beauty in Diversity: Nurturing Understanding Among Civilizations for Global Modernization". How do you understand the core meaning of this topic?

　　中国孔子网：今年尼山世界文明论坛的主题是：“各美其美·美美与共——文明间关系与全球现代化”。您如何理解这一主题的核心内涵？

　　ANS：I understand the topic of the forum "Beauty in Diversity: Nurturing Understanding Among Civilizations for Global Modernization" as follows. Each civilization has its own path of development. But development is possible, among other things, thanks to interaction with other civilizations. Cultural exchange between different civilizations is similar to human communication, which requires trust, respect and understanding. I think that this is the purpose of this forum.

　　娜杰日达·沃尔科娃：我对论坛的主题“各美其美·美美与共——文明间关系与全球现代化”的理解如下。每个文明都有自己的发展道路。发展是可能的，这归功于与其他文明的互动，当然还有其他因素。不同文明之间的文化交流类似于人与人的交流，需要信任、尊重和理解。我认为这就是这个论坛的目的。

　　Q：What positive role do you think the Nishan Forum on World Civilizations has played in promoting cultural exchange, mutual learning, and dialogue among civilizations?

　　中国孔子网：您认为尼山世界文明论坛在促进文明交流互鉴、推动文明对话方面发挥了哪些积极作用？

　　ANS：As I have already said, interaction between civilizations is communication between people. I think that this forum will play a significant role in establishing intercultural connections and creating a conducive atmosphere for cultural exchange.

　　娜杰日达·沃尔科娃：正如我已经说过的，文明之间的互动就是人与人之间的交流。我认为，这个论坛将在建立跨文化联系和营造有利于文化交流的氛围方面发挥重要作用。

　　Q：This forum also has sub topics related to "Confucian culture, family ethics, traditional Chinese medicine culture, Confucian financial culture, water resource utilization and protection, artificial intelligence development, world cultural heritage protection and utilization". Have your academic research been involved? Please choose one to express your opinions.

　　中国孔子网：本次论坛还设置有关于“儒家文化、家庭伦理、中医药文化、金融文化、水资源利用保护、人工智能发展、世界文化遗产保护利用”等方面的分议题，您的学术研究是否有所涉及，请选其一发表观点见解。

　　ANS：My paper is devoted to the problems of ethics in Platonism, which, I believe, may be of interest to my Chinese colleagues. Since they are connected with the problems of duty and responsibility of Human beings in the world. These questions trouble both European and Chinese antiquity and modernity. The answers given by the Platonists continue to be relevant for Russia and Europe, because they were accepted and rethought in Christianity. Among them are the doctrine of virtues, the doctrine of “becoming like God”, the doctrine of the connection between man and the world.

　　娜杰日达·沃尔科娃：我的论文致力于论述柏拉图主义中的伦理问题，我相信我的中国同仁们可能会对此感兴趣。因为这些问题与全世界人类的责任和义务问题有关。这些问题从古至今困扰着欧洲和中国。柏拉图主义者给出的答案至今仍然可以联系到俄罗斯和欧洲有关问题，因为这些思想在基督教中得到了接受和反思。其中包括美德学说、“变得像神一样”的学说、以及有关人与世界联系的学说。
