The 2026 China International Confucius Cultural Festival opened on September 28 in Qufu, Shandong Province, and will run through October 7. Co-hosted by the Shandong Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, this year's festival is themed "Benevolence and Rituals for a World of Shared Harmony".
