On the afternoon of March 10, Li Shihua, Secretary of the CPCCommittee and Deputy Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), met Xing Guang, Secretary of the CPCCommittee of Qufu Normal University in Qufu. The two sides held a discussion on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation and advancing thecreative transformation and innovative development offine traditional culture.

Li Shihua stated that over the years, Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, China Confucius Foundation and Qufu Normal University have maintained close exchanges. Guided by a shared cultural mission, the two sides have jointly conducted research on Confucianism, compiled works such as China Confucianism Yearbook,recruited and trained postdoctoral researcherstogether, and promoted the protection and utilization of cultural relics, achieving fruitful results in various undertakings. Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and China Confucius Foundation will continue to work hand in hand with Qufu Normal University. On the basis of the previous sound cooperation, they will continuously expand exchanges and integration. Relying on the profound academic foundation of the university and the rich resources of the Center, the two sides will deepen cooperation in fields such as humanities and social sciences research, high-level talent training, and the dissemination of fine traditional culture, and jointly explore new paths and methods for the inheritance and development of China's fine traditional culture.

Xing Guang expressed the hope that the two sides will further strengthen the mechanism of collaborative innovation, explore and promotecomplementary advantages, resource sharing and joint cultivation of talents, and jointly advance thecreative transformation and innovative developmentof China's fine traditional culture to a deeper level.
