From March 10 to 11, Li Shihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of China Confucius Foundation), led a team to conduct on-site research and in-depth discussions at ChinaConfucius Research Institute, Confucius Museum, and Mencius Research Institute, all public institutions affiliated to Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies.

At ChinaConfucius Research Institute, the research team inspected Piyong Square, the Experience Base of the Confucius Institute Headquarters, and the exhibition "The Great Confucius", to gain an in-depth understanding of the institute’s achievements in Confucianism research.At Confucius Museum, the team visited the basic exhibition hall of "The Great Confucius", the on-site "Ritual and Music Inheritance and Practice" activity of the Xiaoshao Orchestra, the cultural relics restoration laboratory, the Confucius Culture Data Center, and the cultural relics repository. They also carefully examined the scattered archives of the Confucius Family Mansion, as well as the equipment and workflow for restoring Ming Dynasty costumes.At Mencius Research Institute, the team inspected venues including the Chen Lai Study, Wang Zhimin Study, Mencius Academy, and Mencius School, and learned in detail about the daily operation and work progress.

Li Shihua fully affirmed the achievements made by these three institutes in recent years. He pointed out that we must firmly grasp the theme and main line, consistently study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on promoting fine traditional Chinese culture, the important instructions and directives concerning Shandong’s work, and the requirements set forth in his important speech during his inspection of the Confucius Research Institute. We should focus on the requirements of the "Two Integrations", "Two Creativities" and "Four Clarifications", and conscientiously undertake the new cultural mission. We must stay focused on our core functions and responsibilities, uphold integrity while promoting innovation, and take proactive actions. We should actively identify gaps and address shortcomings, comprehensively elevate all work to a new level, and contribute to building a culturally strong province in the new era.

The research team also inspected the campus construction and operation of Nishan Joint Graduate School of Fine Traditional Chinese Culture.
